Gnarls Barkley ist es nämlich mit “Crazy” zum ersten Mal gelungen, nur durch Downloads Nr. 1 der offiziellen britischen Charts zu werden! Und nicht nur das - der Song hört sich auch verdammt gut an!
Kein Wunder, ist er doch von Danger Mouse produziert, den wir ja schon öfters in Alphabeat vorgestellt haben. Danger Mouse wurde seineszeichens durch das Mixen des White Albums der Beatles mit dem Black Album von Jay-Z bekannt und brachte zuletzt auch gemeinsam mit MF Doom unter dem Namen Dangerdoom das Album “The Mouse & The Mask” heraus.
Das Album “St. Elsewhere”, aus dem die Single “Crazy” stammt, erscheint übrigens im Mai - darauf darf man gespannt sein!
